LETS LOVE AFRICAN PRINTS.

AFRICAN FASHION
I chose African fashion because of the passion I have for African wear. In the olden days, our great grandmothers and fathers dress nicely, decently and comfortably in our own African cloth and it really made them look good. But today’s generation are copying blindly from the western countries making them loose the legacy our old people left behind for us.
I like to emphasize majorly on dress code,DNR that is D-Decently,N-Nicely and R-Respectably. At first, our grandmothers dress very nicely in their kaba and slit, Agbada and it covers every part of their body without exposing any part of their body. They use to call a young lady Aketesia whi ch simply means covering and hiding yourself until one gets married that is only your husband  have to see your nakedness. Now what do we see, the youth of today dress anyhow showing vital parts of their body, such as breats, tights, buttocks  and the rest
I will use my blog to project and promote Africa fashion which includes kaka andslit, skirt and top, high waist and loose trousers, bubus, patankali, agbda and compare it to the western fashion such as miniskirts, skin tight jeans ,small tops, bikini and the rest to compare and see which is more appreciable, acceptable and respectable to wear. The little children coming up also must be taught at their various homes how to wear and embrace our African cloth right from the scratch through the panties made with cloth called mama pioto as called in Ga,then Christmas and occasional should with cloth so that by they grow up they would already have interest in Africa fashion. When we attend parties, outdooring, ewngagement and funerals. We see how our mothers and fathers have nicely with kentes, GTPs,Woodin ATL,sewed in kab a and slit, agbda, bubu, patankali straight dress, skirt and top and others looks so nice beautiful on them. Even young and boy the way you dress is the people will address you and especially the young ladies the way you dress and keep yourself determines the kind of man or husband you will get.
In a nut shell all I am trying to explain is to project and promote African fashion to the whole world for them to know, see and feel our great fashion and culture.
